Dixon Dynasty Basketball Academy is non-profit organization built around the principles of sportsmanship, work ethics and fun. DDBA provides an opportunity for the youth in the Academy to develop new friendships while promoting their physical and social well-being. The program was founded by Mohamed Hassan, Mukhtar Hassan and Mohamed Ismail in 2012. DDBA provides many various outlets to kids while using basketball as a tool to teach life skills needed to be productive citizens in society.
The evening’s
dinner was also generously provided by Istar Restaurant to the youth and
their families. Special thanks also goes to Vice President of Somali Football
Federation Abdirashid Hassan Hersi (Bakin) for his tireless work in helping
DDBA stay motivated and inspired. His wealth of knowledge and experience
working with the community has been the driving force of Dixon Dynasty
Basketball Academy. It was a shinning moment for many. The Award recipients
